Today, Ambassador designate of Belize to the Republic of China (Taiwan), H.E. Dr. Candice Pitts had a meaningful zoom conference with the representatives of Central American Trade Organization (CATO) in Taipei, Taiwan. The meeting was convened by CATO to discuss with Ambassador Dr. Pitts the events and activities they have scheduled thus far for 1) Belize’s Tourism, Culture, and Image Promotion in Taiwan; 2) Investment Promotion and Strategic Alliance between Belize and Taiwan; and 3) Trade Promotion between Belize and Taiwan.
The events and activities discussed revealed promising opportunities for further cultural and economic developments between both countries.
